David Giuntoli, star of NBC’s supernatural crime drama ‘Grimm,' covers the Spring Fashion Issue of BELLO mag. Under the covers, Giuntoli chats with Bello's Hiko Mitsuzuka about brussel sprout recipes, his obsession with the rock band Fugazi, and the beard he’s grown since being on hiatus for several weeks.
“This is a hiatus beard,” he tells Mitsuzuka. “I joked that you’re not an actor until you grow a beard on your hiatus. Also, it’s my one act of rebellion. I don’t have to shave for two months? I’m not gonna shave for two months.”
When asked if it’s a part of his preferred personal style, Giuntoli responds, “I like to go faux intellectual." “Grow a beard, people think you’re smart. Done.”

Kevin Slack's 'Los Tres at La Playita 16' first appeared on the web in mid-2012 (see Ohlala) as a stunning black-and-white series. But for his Ethan Says introduction, the Toronto-based photographer, who works mainly in Cuba, had another go at his source files, changed things up a bit, and is treating us not only to additional images, but to images in color (this, after many requests).
"I couldn't avoid revisiting this set," says Kevin. "It was one of the last times I shot Los Tres - Marlon, Andro and Enrique - at la Playita 16. It was a dazzlingly bright afternoon and there were many gawkers and onlookers but through the heat and the crowd we pushed on. I am always amazed how much of their youth and their vibrant and immodest sensuality the boys are willing to give me and my camera, even in front of a crowd."
